Ali Simmons joined the Family Drug Support team in Rockhampton in January 2020 as a Family Support Worker.

With a background in Mental Health Ali worked with the NHS and Social Services in England before moving to Australia with her husband and three young children in 1997 and settling in Yeppoon some years ago. Ali has most recently been working for Livingstone Shire council with disengaged youth as a Facilitator.

Ali prides herself on her values of teamwork, respect, integrity and commitment to supporting individuals and families. In her spare time, Ali loves spending time with family, friends and travelling whenever possible.
