46 Raewyn Whiting - Board Member Raewyn was appointed a Board Member of Family Drug Support in 2022. Raewyn became a member of FDS in 2016, working as a volunteer on the Support Line and as a Group Facilitator. In 2017 she became FDS NSW Project Officer and where she created and strengthened partnerships with AOD services/agencies, liaised with drug treatment services and carers established new family support groups, provided counselling for families, provided in house services to AOD workers and delivered several of our Stepping Forward and Stepping Stones sessions. Raewyn also collaborated with NSW Health and the University of Wollongong on research and development of a video for families and friends of people with AOD concerns. In a 20+yr career in the airline industry, Raewyn held key positions in Customer Relations, Staff Training and Global Account Management which has provided her with skill sets in negotiating, training delivery, sales, leadership techniques and teamwork. Raewyn has completed studies in Cert IV in AOD, Advanced Coach Mastery, NLP and Matrix Therapies, and has been engaged in Corporate and Personal Life Coaching and Mentoring. Ed Adamek - Board Member Ed is a foundation board member of Family Drug Support. Ed has an extensive career across various roles in advocating for social justice. Ed has volunteered as a refugee advocate, as a telephone mentor for the Welfare Rights network, as a business mentor for the Eastern Suburbs Enterprise Centre and was chairman of the Kings Cross Community Drug Action Team. Ed was also a foundation Member of the consultative committee of the Kings Cross Medically Supervised Injecting Centre which opened in 2000. Ed is also a current volunteer with Justice Advocacy. Imogen Yang - Board Member Imogen has been a long-term volunteer and board member of Family Drug Support. She first became involved with Family Drug Support as a family member seeking support in 2007. Imogen has a range of interests especially in the Arts and works closely with Aboriginal communities.
